Windom, MN | Nice 7120, our is in pieces in the shop right now. Was planting Thursday, got out to pickup a rock, and then got back in to find I had no hydraulics or movement. I guess a bearing went out on the pump and caused some gears to be ruined as well. So they needed to order parts but the neighbor "finished" planting for us. We run a 1780 John Deere, and he still has the 900 cyclo, so I guess we'll get to see if we really have a yield advantage with that John Deere now, since we traded a 900 on it 8 years ago. We still have around 20 acres left, and 2 inches of rain in the forecast. Kind of need the rain as it has been dry here. | |
