Subject: RE: John Deere 7000 16R30 Folding Procedures?

Macon, IL
I have a 12 row which is pretty similar-marker procedure may be different for you. I am just heading out the door to run kids to dance and hope to plant today-but if you still need it tonight email me at [email protected] and I will type up what I have or scan and email.

There are several steps that need to happen in the right order-if you need it today you may want to call or drop into Deere dealer-their service manuals will have those instructions and they should copy it for you..

I would get a manual but here is the ultra reader digest for 12 row (no guarantees I am not skipping something):
1) Raise planter and 3pt
2) Remove Safety stops from back lift wheels
3) Lower planter completely-including 3pt
4) Undo turnbuckle
5) Raise brackets releasing wing wheels
6) Raise planter
7) Put plant/transport switch into plant position
8) Hold down fold button and move hydraulic lever it should now unfold
9) Make sure raised all the way-remove marker safety stops
10) Flip switch to plant position

Reverse for folding

Seriously you need a manual asap-several steps for rephasing, setting level, etc. that to me at least were not obvious before I read manual.
