| I just picked up an old farm wagon that I'm going to use for hauling 30' 5 and 6 inch aluminum irrigation pipe. With a long tongue, I was thinking that a 15' bed would work fine (roughly 7.5' overlap on both ends), but one local fellow says that the pipes will break because of the wagging. I'm thinking he's probably right if they got hauled that way over thousands of miles, but for traveling a few miles on a bumpy road to get used and then a few miles back to the shop at the end of the season they won't be damaged. I'm thinking pipe depth on the trailer would be 6-10 pipes deep. Who's right?
