NESD | Now that you have the external snapring off drive the rod guide into the barrell of the cylinder, there is a wire ring in the barrall that keeps the rod guide from coming out, after the wire ring is removed the rod guide can come out, the sealing rings on the rod guide and the piston will catch in the groove for the wire ring so they will have to be persuaded to come out, your new seal kit may come with a orange ring and it is to put into the groove to help with disassembly by keeping the sealing rings from catching in the groove, I have not had a great amount of success with the orange ring. | |
