Subject: 4700 JD sprayer boom hinge won't take grease

Rivers, MB
The two pins that are part of the "scissor hinge" where the cylinder attaches to (for folding the outer section of the 60/90 boom) won't take more than part of a shot of grease. Is this a big concern? The grease nipple is not plugged so it must be that the groove in the bushings for the grease is plugged. What's involved in taking those 2 pins. Need to support the outside section of the boom I'm assuming. Any other tricks or things to watch for?

Thanks in advance.
