NC Ohio | New disc, New boots. (also drilled out bolt holes to 7/16 inch that hold boot on) but new bushings in closing wheel arm on. Put the smaller seed firming wheel on, The narrow gauge wheel and the 20 point spiked closing wheel on. Hopefully it all works like it should. We put a few beans in last week and was having trouble gettiing the seed to stay in the ground and getting seed trench closed.So since it has been raining all week we decided to go completly thru drill. And just got everything done today. I hope it dries enough this weekend to try it all out. We will be no tilling into corn stalkes and by the looks of things it will be a little wet but hoping the closing wheels help with that | |
