Subject: Saving Images Without SD Card in Drone

Dallas Center IA 515-720-2463
At least on my stuff.
Things may be different with different equipment.
This is with a Mavic Mini, [not a Mini 2]
Display - Samsung Tab S6

In normal operation, you can download images from the flight right after landing.
That is download to display device without pulling the card or hooking up a cable.

Everything must still be left ‘On’, drone, controller, display device.
On the Fly app, with the during flight still on the screen. - Just below the on-screen button to take still picture, or start & stop video. - There is a button to push that takes you to the device’s galley, showing images from the flight.
And you can download them at that time. Remember all three still ‘On’, drone, controller, display.

So I do a trail run.
Remove card from drone
Turn on drone, controller. Open Fly app on device.
Then to ‘Go Fly’
Took three still images without a card in drone.

But that download button is not on the app.

Next I go to the Samsung’s galley. There the three images are.
So I e-mail them to myself, my laptop. [easy way for me to move stuff small amount of stuff from Samsung to laptop]

Then turn off drone, controller.

Again open galley on Samsung and images are gone.

But the e-mailed ones are in the laptop.
