Subject: Deere getting it right.

Eastern VA. No such thing as too many Magnums.
Deere makes some nice machines, but they had a couple brain farts on those sprayers. On the 20 series, they hung the foamer tank down too low. On the 30 series, they fixed the foam tank, but screwed up and hung the ladder too low. Both series had an eductor that didn't fold up completely out of the way. On our 4720, we moved the foamer behind the left rear wheel, like the 30s. Then we changed the geometry a little on the eductor so it folds completely up out of the way. Then they had this dropdown bracket on the axle mirror for some reason, we took that off too. Now we actually have 60 inch clearance. Except the weights which go between the rows luckily. Its a shame when we have to change something to make it the way it was probably intended to be from the beginning. Maybe the 4740s? will be setup correctly from the factory. Should look smooth underneath, like this.
