NE ND | I saw an ad in tractor house for a part that installs in an air seeding tool tower/manifold to help the kernels make the turn into the secondary hoses and on to the openers. They kinda looked like minature upside down lampshades if that makes any sense. The small hole slides over the long bolt that travels up through the tower and the top wide portion squeezes up against the tower lid. So, as the seed comes up the large primary hose this piece helps the seed make a gentle turn into the secondary hoses instead of slamming into the top of the manifold and then going to the secondary hoses.
Sorry if my explanation isn't very good, just not an easy thing to explain. I'm trying to use the air drill for edible beans this year and feel these would reduce splitting the seed. | |
