Central Illinois | We put down some stuff a year ago that is made out of corn or something like that. I will have to check the name. It is guarunteed against all stains except for pet stains. The dealer said he didn't believe it when it came out, so they went and bought some bleach and poured on a sample, let it sit, and no change in color. We have 2 big dogs, and they have made some real messes, but it all cleans up perfectly with little work. Blood, poop, barf, you name it, it comes up. They say even red wine won't stain it. I keep meaning to try it on one of the scraps. It is a thicker pile, so it doesn't really show tracks either.
All in all, we wouldn't trade it for any other carpet.
