N. IL
We just bought one from Ryder, they have retail stores all over. Full maintenance records since new and a 30-day warrranty included. They had several identical trucks to choose from, so we just narrowed it down to condition. At least you know that service and repairs were done and that they aren't just dumping the truck because they don't want to fix it.

Outright from the owner is best, but there is always a reason someone is selling their semi.

Good luck, semi truck shopping is a miserable experience. Lot's of so-called honest men when you get over 100 miles from home. Watch your back!
