Stacked? As in one pump feeds the other? or just with a shared input and shared outputs? I'd be inclined to run shared inputs and separate outputs to each half the application rig. Which would make shutting off one half for point rows easy.
I don't think one pump feeding the other will get higher volume, or higher pressure.
