It took 192 seconds for the machine to tavel the half mile, actually closer 2540 ft by the time you take out roads, ditches, turning room etc. Works out to about 9.01 mph.
Maybe they are longer than half mile rows because it looks like he is going way faster than 9 MPH. Don't get me wrong 9 MPH is really fast but it looks like he is going way faster than that to me.
