North Central Iowa | I'm kind of surprised that no one has mentioned this. Those tractors were notoriously weak in either the front end or the hinge point, I don't remember which. I'm pretty sure that's why a lot of guys got away from running duals on the front. I had a cousin that had a 3588 and when they got it, it had duals all the way around. After having some problems and an expensive repair bill, it only had duals on the rear. I've always heard that they were a good tractor if you used them more like a front wheel assist of that size, since they weren't heavy enough to be used like a true four wheel drive. I know 3-4 years ago on these sites, there used to be discussion about these on a regular basis, and this seemed to be the consensus.
