| Did you add a couple pieces of flat bar that extend below the reel to engage onto the platform on the stringer trailer. This will allow it to turn the trailer bed and the brake on it to stop the spindle from slipping. I noticed these on the Agri - drain unit I copied as a pattern for mine. I used a piece of 1 1/2 wide 1/4 inch flat bar extendind 1 1/2 inches below the spindle on 2 of the tubes.
If you look closely, you can see them in a couple of my pics.
