Subject: John Deere 1770 cord retractor

Farmer, Ohio
Hi, I have a 16 row John Deere 1770 Max Emerge Plus planter. I added a 300 gallon tank onto the telescoping tongue for some pop up starter in addition to my 2X2 fertilizer. This tank is mounted right behind my vac gauges. I have the pump, flow meter, and boom valves there as well to run this. Now my problem is running the wires to my Insight in the tractor. It does not take much wire until I fold it up. I need to run about 50 ft of wire to go back to the main frame and up one of the side braces to the tractor. Unless there is some sort of wire retractor I could use that would retract some extra wire when in the planting position and release say an extra 5-10 ft when in transport. This way I can go the short distance from the tank to the tractor. Thanks for any info.
