| Each has their place. The big thing about tracks is the up front cost and of course their will be maintance ie rollers, bearings, tracks. Also, it takes more hp to drive a track vehicle than a wheel. You will want more hp in a track unit vs. the same wheel unit (that is my belief). The wheel unit has slip and the track will not. The Quad has the best ride in the world if you have bad back. Compaction with the Quad will be about 5 to 7 psi. The wheel will be about 1 psi more that the air pressure you run, but will have four to six tracks (duals or triples) vs. two tracks. | |
