Subject: RE: Hennessey Auction in Wisconsin

Alot of the stuff there is consigned, and alot of the stuff is bid in or has a reserve set.

If you are determined to buy it by "auction", be prepared to waste all day there as it is a big sale and there seems to be no logical order to which they sell things.

If it were me and it was something I really wanted, I'd call Hennessey's and find out if Hennessey owns the item or if it is consigned. They will give you the name and number of the guy consigning it to call up and see if you can work out a deal privately prior to the auction. Might save alot of time and running around, and if you ask the right questions, you'll get an idea of what the guy will really let it go for. I would think most guys will sell it ahead of time for the same price as there "reserve" at the auction.
