NW Tennessee | I've got a `95 model 8200 with 6500+ hours. No problems whatsoever with the engine. It's had all the transmission updates, that I knew about, anyway. About the only rough spot in the shifting is between 12th and 13th, although it's nowhere near as smooth as our 8420. Anyway, I wouldn't turn down a nice 8xxx just because it had the 7.6. In my opinion, it's a very good engine, plenty of power and pretty fuel efficient. | |
