Southeast MN | Just wanted to share an alternate source for lift struts because I'm too cheap to pay the CIH price for the rear window lift struts: was quoted $38 each. So I measured the old ones and went to www.mcmaster.com and ordered one 9416K15 at 15lbs force and a second one at 20lbs force along with 4 ball sockets, item 9416k78 with delivery the total was less than one through parts.
I guessed at what strut force to order and it seems ok with a total of 35lbs. It might work with two 15 pounders. | |
