Use to do same thing. Had a box made from plywood. Was about 4' by 4' square and then angled on one side to about a 1' opening with a metal slide with a small cylinder on it. I think it was about 2' high, maybe a little higher but it would go under wagon gates. I would set it on my pallet forks for skid loader. Worked great. I don't remember what it would hold, but I could fill a 17 row Jd 7000 with 1.6 bu boxes in 2 boxes. Skid loader worked great because you could just turn from box to box with out moving a lot. The emptier the box got, I just tipped it forward more. I don't know it a forklift will have enough tip. Only bad part was moving skid loader and wagon to fields.
