I agree. In your above situation, the flex draper is going to give you all of the advantages you are looking for. Having run them on identical combines at night when the beans get tough, the draper definitely does feed the combine better and smoother which results in higher overall capacity. The draper is quite a bit higher in initial cost, but with good care should last quite a long time. My advice is also to buy one from a reputable dealer who sells some volume of these and/or who can train and guide you in their proper operation. There are more and different variables at work to making one of these heads really work, and it makes all of the difference in the world.
