NE SD

I talked directly with the folks at JW Speaker this afternoon. GREAT PEOPLE BY THE WAY!! They told me that as long as I use shielded wire for the extension, I shouldn't have a problem. The reason for that is because of emissions. He said if I have trouble with the gps or 2-way radios that I may need to wrap the weather/metri-pack connector in aluminum tape. When I told him that it would be buried under a 900 gallon stainless tank or the fenders depending on time of year he said there probably wouldn't be a problem.

Oh, BTW, I asked about voltage, and he said the harness is at 100 volts but the light itself is up at that 25,000. He recommended waiting 5 minutes after shutdown before working on anything after the ballast. LOL.
