If it has ceramic clutch pads you should be able to spray some degreaser and powerwash the clutch and flywheel through the acess cover and it will be fine. If its organic pads it will probably want to keep slipping. Don't powerwash the throwout bearing if you can avoid it. Grease it afterwards if it has a zerk for that. Cleaning it off will defenitly help though.
