Callao Missouri | Sounds to me like you have an open center valve installed in a closed center tractor. There is a big difference and that is why your tractor is laboring but not raising anything. You are constantly pumping oil through a giant internal leak that you have installed.
Snap pictures of the valve or valves and attach them to this post, or email them to me. It may be as simple as buying a closed center plug for your valve and cranking in the relief valve but I urge you to stop before something gets messed up and let someone who understands the systems and how to make them work look at it.
