Pulaski, TN | Friend has a 8row 30 JD fronfold planter he is having lots of problems with. The master cylinder has to be rephased every 3 to 5 hours depending on how many times he has to raise and lower it. The master cylinder was rebuild 2 years ago and probably has no more that 400 acres on it. The problem starts on the left side. As he picks up the planter those wheel cylinders will start to not raise all the way. If he doesn't stop and rephase then he will blow the seal out the end of the master cylinder. We can't see any leaking except for one wheel lift cylinder in the left side and that is a very small leak. What are we missing? We have all the repair manuals from JD but can't seem to figure this one out. Any Ideas? Thanks | |
