West Tennessee | I have seen these tax reduction company's work many times. It quite often involves having the clients setup their business in another family member's name (so that the client's have no income). They then proceed to complete the OIC (offer in compromise) as that they are broke and have no means of support. This gets them either into a reduced amount owed or a complete writeoff. The whole thing is a complete sham and a fraud but they are doing it every day all the while claiming to be (and probably some are) ex-IRS agents and know how to "work" the system. | |
