C IL | I also getting ready to start looking into some usable software and camera ideas. We have a phantom. Very useful if you can’t walk down a ditch.
It’s a technology thing, according to Moore’s law they should get cheaper and better right fast.
I now have access to a kit to get RTK on a drone, but I wouldn’t know where to start processing imagery or if there was a different camera option for NDVI-type that was handy and affordable. I could cover 1500 acres setting up on two farmsteads but the workflow right now escapes me. Not that I have looked very hard.
I think the stand count thing could be extremely useful in a replant scenario, but it is very time critical. Same image can give you weed density, also useful.
The reflectance data, I have yet to make up my mind. | |
