| I have been a grain farmer and attorney for quite a few years. The route I took was I learned how to practice (8 years) and then started farming part-time. Ten years ago I started practicing law part time and have been farming my way out of law ever since. I am a solo farmer but practice law in a firm. The marriage of the two professions imo would work better if I had help on the farm and a solo law practice. Law school is a three year commitment. Be sure you want to practice before taking the plunge. | |
