Pat, I couldn't put my hands on a store bought tester when I was working on my 3176 so I made this one. It is made from a piece of 1/2" pipe and fittings. The washer agout 4" down is what the hold down for the injector pushes against to hold the tester down. The seal is a large passenger car tubeless valve stem. The hose is off a store-bought tester w/the valve to hold the pressure as the engine cranks. Be sure and use a 500lb gauge, although mine didn't have that much pressure. Of course regular pipe fittings probably arn't rated for those pressures, so be careful. I never did find a spec on the pressure of my 3176, just that they should all be close to the same. Ed B can fill you in on that. You will be proud that parts are readly avilable for yours. I had some trouble getting parts for my 3176..............but it is doable. Good luck and have a good night, John
