Batteries are real good at giving false information to the alternator voltage regulation system. It cost my neighbor about $800 at a Ford dealer to finally find this out while on a trip out of town. They would not take back off any of the parts they put on. It was a problem of one of his dual batteries on a diesel. I too have learned the hard way. Gifford
