| Can help you out on getting the bolts loose but as for the axle extensions ( I gather this is the rear axle) CIH came out with a HD rear axle option for the '02 or '03 machines. Our 2388 has the HD rear axle & it's quite a bit heavier than the std axles. We lost a wheel bearing last year & ruined the spindle. The dealer loaned us a std rear axle extension & hub assembly to use till new parts came in. Unfortunately the std axle exxtensions wouldn't fit the HD axle center. We were able to use the hub & spindle & put it on our extension. Later found that for some unknown reason CIH put std spindles & hubs on our HD rear axle :~((.
You might check with your CIH dealer & see if your 21 could be updated to the HD axles. If so, possibly you could find a used one in a salvage yard or at worse order a new one.
WE don't have a mudhog on our 23 but like to find a used one for next year in case anyone knows where one is for sale. | |
