Subject: Re: Service Manuals getting expensive

Alberta, Canada
I have a service manual for my 2090 case tractor I bought about 10 years ago. It cost $115.00 as the price is still written on the cover of it. My friend who does AG repairs asked to borrow it . I asked why he doesn't just by one as he has lots of other manuals for ag equipment. He said he was going to but they wanted $800.00 for it now. I couldn't believe it so I checked and they quoted me the same price. I said he'd be better off to take mine into someplace and get it copied. Last time I heard the service manual for the Magnum tractors is over a $1000.
