I don't own one, but I worked on a custom cutter crew the summer of 01 and they had a 1000 bu one. They may have changed the design since, but the two main beams that form the tongue broke in half about where the pto gearbox is. I also saw another of the same model with the same problem. They bought some 1 in steel plat and welded it all back together. It held, but my point is that killbros had a pretty wimpy design then.

As far as demco, we have two 550 gravity wagons and absolutely love them. They are as sturdy as the more spendy brendt ones. My dad looked real hard at a demco grain cart, but it was not a good fit for us, so got the othe wagon instead. I recommend demco, but I dont' have personal experience with their carts.
