Where Lewis and Clark finished the rum
I use elevation - and slope/run-in/run-out aspects as a component in zone mapping. I think our accuraccy needs aren't as precise as the drainage guys, but I've found that using the survey grade stuff is much preferable to other elevation data.

We are generally high and dry, so drainage isn't an issue, although I've done some work on flood irrigated fields, where precision is a little more necessary.

I just had picked up on some of the issues talked about in the recent elevation thread and thought I'd start one about those issues.
