| I've put them on my current and previous planters and have liked them very much. They provide more surface area and more support to prevent blade flex than any other seed tube guard I've seen on the market. I'm in no-till conditions, so there is additional pressure on the seed openers vs. conventional tillage. The current version has the wear pads welded to the stem, my previous seed tube guards were able to "float" somewhat to better align with the opener blades, but this created some additional wear pad retention concerns, so there welded now.
I don't have the invoice in front of me, but I'm thinking they are $48 per row and $2 each for the poly tabs I attach to the flaps (used with RID tires). | |
