The better thing to do would be to run the variable rate off of the power beyond ports.

When we had our 7810 on a 16 row planter we had the two flow control valves mounted right outside the rear window and had to constantly be adjusting them. It seemed when you were splitting the flow you could never keep it equal. Don't miss that.
