IF you have livestock get a manual, otherwise it probably doesn't matter. Anybody I've talked to that tried the electric that had livestock had problems with it, including my uncle that we farm with. Too much shifting back and forth too fast. Eventually it gets so it sticks in gears, etc.

Not having the odometer will probably end up saving you money. We just traded off an '02 Rancher without the odometer for a Ranger and got $2700 for it. Tires looked good because it had hardly ever been on the road but that thing had a ton of miles on it. You can buy a new one just like it that has a 70 cc bigger motor and efi for $4650.
