Subject: Even more 530 backhoe pics

Savage, Montana

worked a couple days this week and got the block stripped down tonight. looks like it is going to be a decent weekend so i think in between prom and sleeping i am going to wash all the parts off and take apart the head.
1. fully stripped block just sitting there
2. rear end of tractor
3. sleeves and pistons.
4. all my parts and coffee cans with bolts and nuts in them
5. looking down from the top of the block
6. the block turned upside down
7. looking at the inch of sludge in the bottom of the block where the water is at. gunna have to wash that out.
8. a complete piston (i broke 2 of them trying to unseize the engine) with the rings rusted to the piston. all of them looked about like that.
9. inside of one sleeve. doesnt look as bad as it did because i put diesel in it and pushed the piston back and forth trying to get it to loosen up.
10. the crank (thank goodness it is reuseable and not rust caked)
11. the head upside down. gunna need new valves, springs, and seats probably
12. and one last look at the block and the pistons and sleeves in the background
