NW Washington | There are a few pull between fertilizer/sprayer tanks around in the Pacific NW wheat country that are made using an old combine front axle. They use a long narrow tank mounted cross ways to keep the cart short and about as wide as a 4x4 tractor. Some even use the final drives to run a ground driven pump. Some use a swinging drawbar on the cart too. Local name for them is a "backpacker." | |
