Subject: 'Auxiliary function ports' in hydro

Le Sueur VIA St.Thomas
Hello,

I have 2 'auxiliary function ports' in a hydrostatic lawn tractor. the ports are currently capped, but look to be 3/8" npt. I assume that 'auxiliary function ports' in an eaton hydrostatic transmission (851) mean that I can use them to run an extra (small) hydraulic cylinder. Is this correct?? I don't want to plumb something up only to find out the ports were for a cooler or someting...

TIA -jim
