Alberta | I agree these are good machines. I would say that for this area(Alberta), the 690 is the best. Probably for 2 reasons, most growers here use 12 row planters on 22" spacing. The 692 with 8 row22/6 row30 is not a good fit. Also, I believe the 692 has conveyor rolls and the 690 uses an apron chain. A little easier on the beets in our normally dry conditions.
There is quite a few 698's here as well. What is the reason you say they are inferior to the side discharge design of the 690/692/9420? | |
