roaming | The file, as downloaded from the Trimble website, is "zipped", or compressed. This makes the filesize smaller, so that it downloads faster and takes up less space on Trimble's server. You need to double-click the downloaded file to start the "unzip" process., so that the *.ROM file is decompressed and usable by EZ-Toolbox. It should ask you where to unzip, and the default location is probably C:\Program Files\Trimble\EZ-Toolbox. This is fine. You can put it somewhere else, but if you use the default location, EZ-Toolbox should be able to find it automatically. After the file is unzipped, just open EZ-Toolbox and follow the download instructions (if you have them). It's pretty straightforward. | |
