I personally have never run a ag-chem. But I have talked to many people in the past few years who have left ag-chem for John Deere or Case and make comments like....I will never go back.
So between Case and John Deere well...I am biased as my agtalk name would give away. At one time I ran a 4720 and now am running 2-4420's. The primary diference is case weight is split almost 50/50 while the Deere is something like 70/30. In my opinion once you have run a balanced machine it is very hard to switch to a 70/30 split like Deere and ag-chem.
Aside from that I would make my final choice based on dealer service. Some areas Deere dealers are the best other areas it is Case. "here" the Case IH dealer wins hands down, so it is a no-brainer. Some people's blood bleeds green other red or yellow...but I believe it still comes down to dealer service.
