We use a couple of the camera systems that you asked about. At present we don't use a cart but we dump right into the truck. The systems give surprisingly good images. The literature with the systems says that the range is 17 to 19 ft but it will go a lot further. How do we know this? One day last fall we were moving to another farm and all of a sudden the monitor comes on. The image was of the road and there was a combine driving by, ours. Obviously that homeowner had a similar system set up to see who was in their yard. As near as we can tell all the systems work on the same frequency so one camera will broadcast to all monitors within range. All the cameras require to work is 12v. We just spliced ours into the unloading light.
