I was having a nightmare of a time no-tilling behind our 9600. I got rid of that pathetic tri-rod chopper rotor and replaced it with a Redekop MAV chopper rotor. No troubles now. Does about as good a job chopping as our 9860. Might even spread it a little wider than the 9860 too!
