Sutherland, IA | Putting on new opening disk today on our 1770 with max emerge plus units and I'm having problems. These are brand new Deere 3.5mm disk with the XP nut and bearing in them. I'm shooting for 1" of contact between the disk. I can get the disk to contact and then if i turn them a quarter turn i can slip in 2.8mm worth of feeler gauges where the contact point should be. You can visibly see the wobble by just mounting one disk and standing to the back and spinning it. They all have some wobble to them with the worst being the 2.8mm, but then again I've only mounted 5 of the 32 disk. Am I expecting too much out of these disk and deere or should they be taken back to the dealer tomorrow and find a different source. | |
