| I have had several different brands of battery chargers over the years & invariably they fail after 5-10 years. I was in need of a new charger about 3 years ago & did some checking around. Parts manager at our local farm equipment dealership use to work for a company that sold chargers & recomended an Associated. I got to thinking & remembered dad bought an Associated back in the '50s & it had probably sit outside for at least 1/2 it's life, brother has it now & it still works so I ended up buying one as well. Only charger I know of that is quaranteed when used outside in the rain.
As Tim said, they are expensive but worth every penney IMO. | |
