Kansas | Yea, I think sometime in the early 90's gm's half tons in the 4wd models went to 16" wheels. I can't remember now what size they are offhand but they are the shorter wider ones. Not so much sidewall.
No sense in going to an 8 bolt setup on this particular trailer. It is a gooseneck but it's isn't big enough to ever substantiate loads over 7 ton. 3.5 ton I can probably push the limits but I would like to find 7000 lb axles to fit it if possible. Plus, I'd think they'd be cheaper over 8 bolts....maybe not. Hope to find out on here. I guess I could just make a phone call and then know...... | |
