I agree with you. No 2 axle trucks with DOT# here either but this is new law. Get on Ill Farm Bureau and search for DOT or UCR and there are 20 q/a's that my answer your questions. Farm Bureau and the IDOT guy that did my audit both say that all commercial trucks over 10001lbs need UCR and DOT# if involved in interstate commerce. Farm straight trucks would fall into this catagory if hauling to a facility that is the first leg of Interstate commerce.

10001 lbs is rediculous, but thats what it says
